Just Looking

Not thinking. Just looking. Just feeling. All of the photos in this series were taken when I was sitting or standing in a space, just looking. I wasn’t thinking about the best photograph, what I had left on my to-do list, or who I’d forgotten to call back, I was overwhelmed by what I was feeling at the time— Peace while sunbathing at the beach, patience while waiting to arrive at my destination, trapped inside my apartment desperate to break out, and so forth. This is freedom to me, letting go of control and allowing my mind focus on nothing other than what’s directly in front of me.

I want to share this freedom with you.
